This version includes the following changes:
- optimised recording
- optimised replay
Besides an updates channel list (Sat1 Pro7 group), this update includes the following issues that have already been solved in the previous firmware version:
- optimised dual-tuner recording
- enhanced support for CI modules
- the keys Skip and Fast Forward / Fast Rewind now work during a recording and in timeshift mode
Installation instructions
To install the firmware, please follow the instructions in the manual:
- Exchanging Data with the PC (page 64)
- Software Upgrade from HDD (page 47)
Please mind that the new firmware only works correctly, if you load the factory settings and format the hard disc after installing the firmware.

Load the default settings after the new firmware has been installed.
Information:
By loading the factory settings, the channel list that is contained in the firmware is loaded.
Please follow these instructions:
- press the Menu-button
- use the arrow keys to go to System Setup and confirm by pressing the OK button.
- use the arrow keys to go to Factory Setting and confirm by pressing the OK button.
- enter the codeword (default: 0000)
- check the settings in the menu and customise them accordingly

- Use the arrow keys to change to HDD Interface and confirm by pressing the OK button.
- Use the arrow keys to change to Format and confirm by pressing the OK button.
- Enter the codeword (default: 0000).
