Step 2: Select ->[Start]
->[Settings]
->[Control Panel]
->[System]
->[HardWare] (Win2000 only)
->[Device Manager]
->[Other Deivces]

Double Click the [PCI Multimedia Audio Device] or [Multimedia Audio Controller]
(Windows ME) (Windows 2000)
and select [Device Driver]

Step 3: Select Upgrade Device Driver Wizard.

Step 4: Select specify a location.

Step 5: Path=f:\4X6XSOUND\SOUND\4XW2K-ME.

Step 6: Select next.

Step 7: Select finish.

Step 8: Reboot your system.

1. Press "Start" button.
2. Move highlight bar to "Settings" and select "Control Panel".
3. Double click on "Multimedia" icon.
4. Select "Devices" page.
5. Press "Add..." button.
6. Select item "Unlisted or Updated Driver" in "List of Drivers" list box.
7. Specfy path of PCI audio NT drivers.(ex: F:\4X6XSOUND\4x\NT40\drv)
8. The dialog show item that fit your audio device, please press "OK" button.
9. Choose proper I/O or "OK" button for default setting.
10. Please restat Windows NT system.

* How to remove installed drivers?
1. Press "Start" button.
2. Move highlight bar to "Settings" and select "Control Panel".
3. Double click on "Multimedia" icon.
4. Select "Devices" page.
5. Open "Audio Devices".
6. Select "Audio for C-Media PCI Devices" then press "Remove" button.
7. Press "Yes" button while system ask for confirming.
8. Shut down NT system and reboot.

STEP12.SYS : 1. remove stereo mix volume. when microphone gain = 0dB. do nothing.
