Installation Information
----------------------------------
From Microsoft Windows or Windows '95, run the INSTALL.EXE
program on this diskette. The install program will allow you
to install the Network Utility for NetWare and/or the Network
Utility for NDS for Novell's NetWare Administrator.

Which Utility To Use
----------------------------------
You may choose to use either the Network Utility for NDS or the
Network Utility for NetWare based on the following criteria:

If your network is NetWare 4.1 or 4.11 and you use Novell's
NetWare Administrator to manage your network, use the Network
Utility for NDS.

If your network is NetWare 3.X or earlier use the Network
Utility for NetWare.

If your network contains both NetWare 3.X and 4.X servers, you
may use the Network Utility for NDS for NB-1 products associated
with the NetWare 4.1 or 4.11 servers. For NB-1 products assigned
to the NetWare 3.X or earlier servers, use the Network Utility
for NetWare.

File Information

Network Utility for NetWare Directory (UTILNW):
Contains the compressed Windows utility files and the
Windows installation utility files for the Network Utility
for NetWare.

Network Utility for NDS Directory (UTILNDS):
Contains the compressed utility files and installation
utility files for the Network Utility for NDS. There are
3 subdirectories NW41, NW411_16, and NW411_32. These
subdirectories contain files for the different supported
versions of NetWare Administrator.

Extended System's ExtendNet Connect Utilities
============================================================
ExtendNet Connect for TCP/IP and ExtendNet Connect for DLC
are utilities that allow simple, direct, printing from your
computer to a printer attached to an Extended System's
ExtendNet print server. These utilities require that your
print servers be configured for the appropriate protocol.

For specific instructions on how to setup and print with
each of the utilities see the individual "readme.txt"
files in the "XconnIP" and "XconnDLC" subdirectories on
the "Windows Network Printing Utilities" diskette.
Note:
The ExtendNet Connect utilities work best when the ports
on the Extended Systems print server have been configured
to have a descriptive name of the printer attached. If
you add an ExtendNet Connect port to your printer
environment and later change the name of the Extended
Systems print server port that it maps to, you will no
longer be able to print to that port.

3. Installation
Before installation, if ANSI.SYS is not incorporated in CONFIG.SYS on
your computer, check the directory which contains ANSI.SYS and
incorporate ANSI.SYS in CONFIG.SYS.

For example:
If ANSI.SYS resides in DOS directory on drive C,
DEVICE = C:\DOS\ANSI.SYS
If ANSI.SYS resides in COMMAND directory in WINDOWS on drive C,
DEVICE = C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND\ANSI.SYS

How to install:
1.At the DOS prompt,switch to the drive where the Utilies disk in
located.
2.At the DOS prompt,type INSTALL and press the ENTER key.
3.Follow the instructions on the screen.

4. Uninstall
Delete FF0V directory and all files contained in that directory.

3. Installation
Before printing on Mita PointSource Ai3030, you should install
this printer driver software.
1) Double-click Control Panel icon in Main Group.
2) Double-click Printers.
3) Select ADD>> then press Install.
4) Insert Disk press OK.

NOTE:
If you update the printer driver, remove old printer driver in the
Printers dialog box before installing new one.

4. Uninstall
1)If you want to delete the Mita PointSource Ai3030
printer driver,
execute "UnInstall" of the Mita PointSource Ai3030 group.
2)From Main, double-click Control Panel.
Double-click Printers, select Mita PointSource Ai3030,
and then click Remove.

5. Notes
1) Other printer drivers may affect a print job, which can cause
improper printout.
Remove some or all your other printer drivers and start
the print job again.

2) If you print a job using the Group mode or Sort mode on this printer,
do not select Collate option in the Print dialog box of the applicati
on software.

3) If an error occurs on this printer, cancel the current print job and
press the reset key in the printer basic screen on the operation
panel, or turn the printer off and then on. After that try to reprint
the job.

4) When you select the Booklet, Zoom or N-up(thumbnails) function in the
printer property, enlargement/reduction might not be carried out
correctly according to the application in use.
In this case, carry out setting the printer property via the
application
and cancel it once, and then open the property again and click OK.
5) When you select different size of paper from the size of paper loaded
and set in the printer, sometimes incorrect printout might appear. Be
sure to select a size of paper already loaded and set in the printer.

6) If you eject the printout to sort bins, the maximum number of copies
that can be entered in Setup dialog box becomes the number of
available bins of the optional sorter(or mailbox).

7) If you execute Duplex print, the number of copies should be set 50
copies or less.

3. Installation
Before printing on Mita PointSource Ai3030, you should install
this printer driver software.
1) Start Windows and insert driver disk into the appropriate
drive.
2) Click the Start button, point to Settings, and then click
Printers.
3) Double-click Add Printer.
4) Follow the instructions on the screen.
5) Set PointSource Ai3030 printer as default printer.

NOTE:
If you update the printer driver, remove old printer driver in the
Printers dialog box before installing new one.
When installing this printer driver in this way, the message,
"Select the installing driver for new hardware.", is displayed
while communicating with the printer.
If this occurs, click the Cancel button, and continue the
installation.

4. Uninstall
Remove the printer driver before starting print jobs.
If you remove it after printing, all files of the printer driver might
not be able to be deleted.

1) Click the Start button, point to Settings, and then click
Printers.
Click PointSource Ai3030 icon with the right mouse button,
and click Delete.
2) Follow the instructions on the screen.

5. Notes and restrictions

1) Other printer drivers may affect a print job, which can cause
