Observations
1)Download the R246840 firmware package.
2)Double click on the .exe file and extract the files onto a location on your harddrive.
3)6 files will be extracted.
4)Connect the usb cable to printer.
5)Double click on the dellfwup.exe file.
6)Select USB when prompted to ask the port used to update firmware.
7)Select English as the language and proceed by clicking Next button.
8)Select the printer attached and proceed with clicking on Next
9)Firmware update will start and wait for printer to be in ready mode.
10)Go to Setup - Reports - system Settings to print out the configuration page and make sure firmware version is 200908241013
