Foreword
This Readme gives you important information about setting up and using
the Canon BJC-85 printer Driver with which the Readme is distributed. The BJ
Printer Driver allows you to print on your Canon BJC-85 printer from
applications running under Microsoft (R) Windows (R) XP or Microsoft (R)
Windows (R) 2000. Before you can use your printer, you must install
the printer driver on your computer.
Installation Components Canon BJC-85
The following components make up the installation package:
- Installer (Setup.exe)
Installs the Canon BJC-85 printer Driver on your computer.
- Canon BJC-85 printer Driver (referred to as the "printer driver" in this
document)
The software that allows you to print on your printer.
- Uninstaller
Lets you remove the printer driver from your computer.
- Readme (readme.txt)
This document. It contains important information about the printer
driver. To view it after installation, select [Start]-[Programs]-
[BJC-85]-[Readme].

This product is a printer driver for Canon IJ printers.
Precaution
1.This driver does not have the Russian / Polish / Portuguese help files and readme ones.
2.[Mac OS X v10.5 and 10.6] Phenomenon: When overwriting the old version, the version number of the driver displayed in [Options & supplies] of [Print & Fax] may not be updated. Solution: In the [Print & Fax] window, click the "+" button to register the queue of the applicable driver again after clicking the "-" button to delete the queue of the applicable driver.
3.[Mac OS X v10.5.x] Printing using Bluetooth connection cannot be performed.
4.[Mac OS X v10.5 and 10.6] Phenomenon: When printing using AirMac via USB cable, the print speed may become slow. (Case 1) Application: Preview (Case 2) Application: Text Editor
