Setup Driver at first time:
---------------------------------------

Step 1. Before installing the Realtek HD Audio Drivers, Press the
[Cancel] button if Windows detect the Multimedia Audio device.

Step 2. Insert the "Realtek HD Audio Drivers" CD into the CD-ROM
drive and run the setup.exe program to finish the installation.

Step 3. Click on [Next/OK/Go] to continue the procedure. If the Windows popup
"Digital Signature Not Found" message, press [Yes] to continue the
installation.

Step 4. Finally, select to restart the system and press [Finish] to complete
the installation.

The system will reload the drivers and do some adjustments in the INF
file if so required.

Update Driver:
--------------------------

Step 1. Follow Step 2,3,4 described in [Setup at first time] above to complete
the procedure.

Remove Driver:
--------------------------

Step 1. Go to Start\Settings\Control Panel.

Step 2. Select [Add/Remove Programs] icon.

Step 3. Select "Realtek HD Audio Drivers" and press [Change/Remove]
button.

Step 4. Click on [Next/OK/Go] to finish the uninstallation.

Step 5. At the end of the procedure, select to restart the system and press
[Finish] to complete the uninstallation.

Customers can submit enhancements, changes and/or defects against releases of software or firmware via the Broadcom Customer Support Portal (CSP). CSP cases are replicated into the Broadcom Bluetooth engineering change management database for review by the engineering community and change control boards.
If your project or program is not listed inside the CSP please contact your Broadcom
representative whom can configure the CSP system for use with your unique needs.

Pre-Installation Notices
1. User must be logged on as administrator to install BTW. If non-administrative user is logged on and starts install, and then inputs administrator password, BTW will not install correctly.
2. If the system is configured to share contacts between Outlook Express and Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express will not be shown as one of the options for PIM Item Transfer for business cards.
3. Install Shield Developer Premier 10.5 is required to build the BTW Release.
4. If end user stops the DFU process in the middle of the DFU upgrade, the BT device will stay in DFU upgrade mode. This will prevent the user from using the BT mouse/keyboard and the user will need to use wired mouse/keyboard in order to restart the DFU and complete upgrade process. You will then be able to use Bluetooth mouse/keyboard again.
5. Prior to installing BTW: Open Windows Explorer -> Tools -> Folder Options -> Check box "Launch folder windows in separate process". This will ensure that the task bar is always visible.

Post-Installation Notices
1. Volume level is set to maximum by default for Bluetooth Audio, once changed; it will retain its new setting.
2. In order to see traces in SpyLite, you will need to logoff of user account and log back in.
Create this registry entry:
DWORD HKCU\Software\WIDCOMM\BTConfig\Debug\LogIPAddr = 0x7f000001
Reboot.

Performance may slow down when RSS enabled and runs on Vista (6000).

This is not Realtek driver issue.

To use RSS with best CPU load balance, please use Vista SP1 (6001).

DO NOT TEST PERFORMANCE WHEN RSS ENABLED AND RUNS ON VISTA 6000.

Installation :
Run Setup.exe(run Setup.exe /s for silent installation).

Uninstallation:
1) For Vista, go to Control Panel->Programs and Features;
For WinXP, go to Control Panel->Add or Remove Programs
2) Look for "Windows Driver Package - ENE (enecir) HIDClass" entry with ENE as the publisher
3) Double click on the entry to complete the uninstallation

However, if such entry can't be found, please do these steps:
1) Go to Control Panel->Device Manager
2) Under menu item "View", make sure "Show hidden devices" is checked
3) Go to Human Interface Devices->ENE CIR Receiver
4) Right click on it and select Uninstall
5) Make sure "Delete the driver software for this device" is checked
6) Click Ok to complete the uninstallation
