INSTALLING THE WINDOWS NT 3.5 DRIVERS
=====================================

To install the NDIS 3.0 driver, simply follow the instructions given
below to navigate through the menu driven functions in Windows NT.

1. Insert this driver diskette into the system's floppy drive.

2. From th Control Panel in the Windows NT Main window, double click on the
"Network" icon to install the Adapter.

3. In the Network Settings dialog box, choose "Add Adapter".

4. In the "Add Network Adapter" dialog box, pull the adapter list menu and
select " Requires disk from manufacturer" from the list.

5. Select "Continue" button.

6. In the next window, specify the drive and path for the Mobility LI-1277
PCI Fast Ethernet driver.

NDIS3 Driver Installation for Windows 95
========================================

The following installation procedure is assumed that Windows 95 has been
installed in your computer without any network drivers installed.
1. Turn your computer off.
2. Install the Adapter into your computer.
3. Turn your computer on.

4. A "New Hardware Found" dialog appears and prompts you for the
selection of PCI Ethernet Controller. You can select the "Dirver
from disk provided by hardware manufaturer" and press the OK button.

5. Enter "A:\WIN95" when prompts for the WIN95 drivers and inserts the
adapter's driver diskette in drive A.

6. Enter your Workstation and Workgroup names accordingly when prompts
to next. You'll have to have your WIN95 CD-ROM ready in this section
for any necessary networking files.

7. When it finishes copying, your Windows 95 system is ready to run
with your adapter.

Driver Installation for MS Network Client for DOS and Windows
=============================================================

To install the driver, follow these steps:

1. Insert Disk 1 of the MS Network Client for DOS and Windows into
drive A:.
2. Run setup.exe.
3. Follow the on-screen menu until the program prompts you to enter the
destination directory for the installation on your hard disk.
C:\NET is the default direcotry.
4. Continue the installation until an adapter list appears.
Select from the list.
5. Insert the adapter's driver diskette into drive A:.
6. Specify the path where the driver is located.
7. Select one model that matches your adapter for the installation.
8. Since the LI-1277 is a Plug and Play PCI adapter, no other settings
are required.
9. Follow the on-screen menu to complete the installation.
10. Reboot your computer and use NET command to logon the MS server.

This manual describes how to setup the device driver of TOSHIBA ATAPI CD-ROM
Drive.
This device driver is exclusive use of TOSHIBA ATAPI CD-ROM drive XM-5602B,
XM-5702B, XM-6002B and XM-1502B, XM-2402B.

How to setup the CD-ROM device driver.

1. It copies CD-ROM device driver to the system disk.

2. Add the following line to CONFIG.SYS of the system disk.
LASTDRIVE=Z
DEVICE=:\CDROMDRV.SYS

3. Add the following line to AUTOEXEC.BAT.
C:\DOS\MSCDEX.EXE /D:

4. Restart computer.

Note:
There is the following restrictive item for (/B) option switch.
1. Driver supports DMA transfer only for Intel Triton and Triton2 PCI Chip
Set.
2. If application buffer address (store CD-ROM data) is not word align,
the driver will not DMA trnasfer. (Use PIO transfer)
3. If doing DMA transfer with Intel Triton2 PCI chip set, use EMM386.EXE
version is below 4.49. (EMM386.EXE Version4.49 should be in MS-DOS 6.22.)

WINDOWS 3.1x DRIVER INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Insert Windows 3.1x display driver installation diskette.
2. Boot Windows 3.1x.
3. Pull-down File menu and select Run option.
4. Type 'D:\VGA\WIN31\ENGLISH\SETUP' and hit .
5. After Setup will start initializing driver setup, select
'OK' when prompted to continue with Setup.
6. After Setup completes, enter Control Panel and select
'Video Configuration' program icon.
7. Once in Video Configuration program, select preferred
settings then hit 'OK'.
8. Then select Restart if want changes to take effect. If
want to have changes take effect next time booting Windows
then select 'Continue'.
FIX/UPDATE ITEM
1. Updated overlay color key programming for all NM2093 chips.
2. System hangs when open Neomagic display screen controller during
MPEG playback.
3. Picked area broke when flip drawing area horizontal. Happens in
8 or 16 bits color depth.
4. "Devide By Zero" message appears in the paintbrush when flip
drawing area to vertical. Happens ONLY in 16bpp color depth.
5. Paintbrush drawing is notched in 24 bits color.
6 Toggle from DOS BOX to DOS full-screen in 6x4x8 TV-PAL or TV-NTSC
mode will corrupt screen.
7. Fixed 24bpp problem where can not open DOS full screen under TV.
8. Fixed HW Icon is disabled opening DOS full-screen session.
9. Fixed Color Key setting for the overlay. Now the color key can
be changed on-the-fly.
10. Fix bug: open XING MPEG then open NeoMagic control panel causes
system to hang.
11. Fix bug: check for NM2097 and show supported resolutions and color
depth like NM2093.
12. Changing mode to 800x600 16M Large Font will hang system.
13. Changing mode with SETUP.EXE from DOS does not work.
