INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE
Right click on the My Computer Icon and select Properties from
the menu. Select the Hardware Page tab, then press the Hardware
Wizard button. In the Hardware Wizard screens, select Next and
then the Add/Troubleshoot a devce, and run the Add a new device
Wizard. Select "No, I want to select hardware from a list", then
select "Multiport serial adapters" as the type of hardware to
install. Press the "Have Disk" button, point the installation to
the install disk or downloaded directory with the DeviceMaster
Primo driver and the DMPORT.INF install script file. A list
will appear with DeviceMaster as one of the options. Select
the device type "DeviceMaster".
( *NOTE* DO NOT choose DeviceMaster 1 port if that option is available.)
Allow the wizard to copy over the files and perform the installation.

this will open the properties window. Select the driver tab and

powered up and working correctly.
* Check to make sure that the network address shown on the Device
Setup window matches the network address of the device.
