Quick Installation
1) Open the package and remove the
Air Navigator CD.
Don’t plug the router in yet.
2) Insert the Air Navigator CD into
your computer. The Setup Wizard
should launch automatically. (If
not, open the CD and click on the
AirNavi icon. )
3) The wizard will guide you through
connecting your equipment and
setting up your Internet connection.
Installation without CD
1) Power down the Cable or DSL modem, the computer, and the AirStation.
2) Plug the modem’s Ethernet cable into the AirStation’s INTERNET port.
3) Plug the other Ethernet cable into one of the four LAN ports on the AirStation,
and plug the other end into your computer.
4) Important: Equipment must be powered on in the following order.
• Power on your modem and wait one full minute.
• Next, power on the AirStation and wait one full minute.
• Finally, power on your computer.
Open a web page to con rm that the internet connection is set up correctly. If a login screen
appears, enter "root" for the username, leave the password eld blank, and follow the wizard.
You may switch to a wireless connection, if desired. SSID and Security information are displayed
on the barcode label of the AirStation.
Opening Web Configuration Screen (for Advanced Users)
1) Move the Router Switch on the back of AirStation to the ON position. Diconnect the cable between your computer
and AirStation once and reconnect it.
2) Open the web browser and enter the address http://192.168.11.1.
3) Enter "root" for the username and leave the password eld blank. The web con guration screen will now open.
