Observations
Installing Drivers
• Select Install Wireless
Drivers.
• Click Next to install a driver for the USB adapter.
• Select Agree and click Next to continue the process after reviewing the license
agreement.
• A window will appear prompting the insertion of the Wireless Adapter. Plug the
included cable into the Nfiniti AirStation Wireless USB Adapter and your PC’s USB
port.
Installing Wireless Drivers
• When the ‘Found New Hardware Wizard’ launches, click Next to run the wizard.
• If the ‘Digital Signature Not Found’ page opens, click Yes.
• When the Wireless USB Adapter is successfully installed, click Finish. Restart your
computer if prompted.
Connecting Wireless Clients to your Network
Buffalo supports three different
methods for connecting your wireless
client device to your network.
If your AP supports it, use the simple,
utterly secure AOSS to connect.
Install the Client Manager from your
AirNavigator CD (page 7) and turn to
page 10.
You may also use the Client Manager
software from your AirNavigator CD to
configure your network manually. See
page 15 for more on Client Manager.
If you’re running Windows XP on your
PC, you may use its built-in Zero
Configuration tool to connect to your
router/AP. See page 20 for more on
Zero Configuration.
Client Manager
Client Manager can be used to survey and connect to available access points, confi gure
WPA/WEP encryption, and create connection profi les.
Note: When Client Manager is installed, Windows XP Wireless Zero Confi guration is
automatically disabled.
Installing Client Manager
Insert the AirNavigator CD into the CDROM
drive of you computer. If the Air
Navigator Setup Wizard does not launch
automatically, launch it manually by
clicking Start and then Run. Enter D:Setup.exe in the dialog box that appears.
Click OK. Select Install Wireless Client
Manager.
• Once the Client Manager Installer launches, click Next.
• Press Agree to accept the license agreement and continue installation.
• Click OK when Client Manager
installation is complete.
• Press Exit Setup to exit AirNavigator.
• Client Manager is now installed and
running. Right-click on its icon (the
black antenna) to use it.

1. Known issue
When you uninstall the WLI-CB-G54/A driver, do not forget restart
Windows. Otherwise, driver re-installation must be failed.
* Refer to 5. How to uninstall the driver.
Notice for using WLI-PCM-L11/G/GP/WLI-USB-L11/G under Windows XP
When the WLI-PCM-L11, WLI-PCM-L11G, WLI-PCM-L11GP, WLI-USB-L11 or
WLI-USB-L11G is used under WindowsXP, disabling adapter from network
adapter properties might not work properly. In this case, please
disable the adapter from device manager.
For WLI-USB-KS11G user
Update USB adapter's firmware, when you use the driver that is contained
in this CD. Execute winupdate.exe in \USBKB11\Firmware\USBKS11G folder.

Note: Do not attach the wireless client adapter at this point. The Setup
Wizard will instruct you as to when to insert the device.
Place the AirNavigator CD into your CD/DVD drive. The Setup Wizard will
launch automatically.
Click on Begin Installation (Fig: 1) and then select the AirStation Wireless LAN
Adapters option (Fig: 2). Follow the instructions to install the product drivers.
Installing Client Manager
During setup you can choose to install Buffalo’s Client Manager software.
This utility lets you survey and connect to any supported wireless networks.
It also allows for connection and configuration via AOSS (AirStation One
Touch Secure System) and WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup), provided these
methods are supported by your Router.
Using Client Manager To Connect To Your Wireless Network
The next section of the wizard guides you through setting up a wireless connection
with Client Manager. The process differs depending on your OS.
Client Manager 3 for XP/2000
Connect with AOSS (Fig: 3)
• From the Status Screen, select the Profiles tab.
• Click the AOSS button on the Client Manager’s screen. The AOSS wizard will
appear.
• Now, press the AOSS button on the Router/Access Point. Hold it down until
the AOSS LED begins to flash. Once AOSS is complete (about 30 seconds),
the connection is archived as a profile for later use. To minimize Client
Manager to the system tray, click the ‘X’ in the top right corner.
Connect Manually (Fig:3)
• Click the Scan tab in Client Manager. It will show you a list of available
networks.
• Choose the network you want to connect to and click Connect.
• If the chosen wireless network is encrypted, select the Encryption Method,
enter one or more encryption keys, and click Connect.
Client Manager V for Vista
Click on the Setup Wireless Config option..
Click on the AOSS button and follow the instructions to establish a secure
connection with your router.
Alternatively, select the Advanced Setup option to configure your wireless
connection manually or to use WPS PIN setup method..
Connect Manually (Fig: 5)
This option requires you to enter your network name (SSID) and encryption
method/key manually.
Connect with WPS PIN (Fig: 5)
When prompted you must enter the WPS PIN provided in the wizard (Fig : 6)
into the Enrolee PIN section of your router’s interface (Fig: 7). Please consult
your router’s manual for IP and login information.
