Observations
Now that the WBMR-G54 and your wireless client adapter are installed, you can
use AOSS to configure them.
- To begin the configuration, press the AOSS button on the back of the
WBMR-G54 for 3 -10 seconds. The Status light will begin to flash
at a faster rate..
- Now, push the AOSS button on the client device. Depending on which
device you have, this may be either on the device, or in its software.
Consult your client device’s documentation if you don’t know where its
AOSS button is.
- When AOSS has finished, the Status light will return to its steady flashing
state. Your wireless network is securely set up!
Additional AOSS Information:
Only one AOSS wireless client adapter can be configured to the AOSS modem
router at a time. The buttons will need to be repressed to connect each additional
AOSS wireless client adapter.
Do not attempt to configure two separate AOSS networks at the same time, as this
may cause unexpected configurations.
If an undesired client has connected via AOSS, you may forcibly disconnect it from
the WBMR-G54’s advanced configuration menu.

Observations
Notes on Wireless Configuration:
If you have a PC connected to the router with a wired connection, we recommend that you use it to configure your WBMR-G54. That said, you can still configure your WBMR-G54 with a wireless connection if you have no computer available with an Ethernet adaptor.
Consult your wireless client card or adapter’s documentation to confirm that it’s correctly installed with all necessary drivers.
PPPoE/PPPoA
If you intend to configure your Modem Router to use PPPoE or PPPoA for the Internet connection, you will need to contact your ISP provider for login information and DNS primary and secondary addresses before you configure the connection. The manual contains detailed instructions on the steps involved.
