Observations
(A) Installing the NDIS5 Miniport driver on Microsoft Windows 2000
=================================================================
1. Plug Accton's EN1208 adapter into one of the Master PCI
slots of your PCI platform.
2. Turn the power ON, then boot from Windows 2000.
3. When Windows 2000 prompts with "PCI Ethernet Controller" in the
"New Hardware Found" dialog box, click the "Next" button.
4. Select "Search for the best driver for your device (Recommended)"
form the "Add New Hardware Wizard" dialog box, then click the
"Next" button.
5. Insert the Accton EN1208 Driver Diskette in your floppy drive.
6. Select "Specify a location" and type Path "A:\WIN2000" in the
"Add New Hardware Wizard" dialog box, then click the "Next" button.
7. Click the "Next" button in the "Add New Hardware Wizard" dialog box.
8. Windows 2000 will prompt with "Accton EN1208 PCI Ethernet Adapter"
in the "Add New Hardware Wizard" dialog box.
9. Click the "Next" button in the "Add New Hardware Wizard" dialog box, then
Windows 2000 will copy the driver (EN1208.SYS) from A:\WIN2000
to the C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS directory, and the EN1208.INF file from A:\WIN2000
to the C:\WINNT\INF directory, and rename it to OEM?.INF.
10. When Windows prompts with "Accton EN1208 PCI Ethernet Adapter"
in the "Add New Hardware Wizard" dialog box, click the "Finsh" button.
11. Remove the Accton EN1208 Driver Diskette from your floppy drive.
12. Now windows' network funciton will start to work without restart your computer.
NOTICE!! C:\WINNT is the directory where your Windows 2000
O.S. is located.
(B) Configuring the NDIS5 Miniport driver on Microsoft Windows 2000

1. Click the "My Computer" icon in the Main Program Group.
2. Click the "Control Panel" icon in the My Computer window.
3. Click the "Network" icon in the Control Panel window.
4. Select the "Accton EN1208 PCI Ethernet Adapter" item
from the "Network" dialog box, then click the "Properties" button.
5. Click the "Advanced" button in the "Accton EN1208 PCI Ethernet
Adapter Properties" dialog box.
6. Accton EN1208 adapter have two parameters which you can set as you like.
In the "Line Speed" box, you can choose one of the following four choices:
"TP Half Duplex", "TP Full Duplex", "BNC / 10Base2", "AUI / 10Base5"
In the "Network Address" box, you can set the network address as you like.
6. Click the OK button in the "Network" dialog box when complete.
7. The new configuration will be initialized and implemented without restart your computer.

to the C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS directory, and the EN1208.INF file from A:\WIN2000
to the C:\WINNT\INF directory, and rename it to OEM?.INF.
10. When Windows prompts with "Accton EN1208 PCI Ethernet Adapter"
in the "Add New Hardware Wizard" dialog box, click the "Finsh" button.
11. Remove the Accton EN1208 Driver Diskette from your floppy drive.
12. Now windows' network funciton will start to work without restart your computer.
