Patched for keyboard98 S3 wake up issue
Version

Size Driver
338KB
File Name
4bmw1p45.b01_rlscn.zip
Observations
1.Patched for keyboard98 S3 wake up issue. 2.Added HDD delay support for big size HDD issue. 3.Patched for enabled 'special IO for PCI Card' hang 25H issue. 4.Patched for smart fan stop work issue after s3 when use super-utility. NOTE: Unless you are experiencing difficulties which you believe may be
motherboard-BIOS-related, you probably do NOT need to update the BIOS.
If you decide to flash the BIOS, please proceed as follows:
1. Print out this procedure.
2. Unplug the power cord from the power supply.
3. Remove the side cover from the system enclosure.
4. Locate Jumper “JP1” on the motherboard. Please refer to the pictures below:
5. Jumper “JP1” needs to be changed from 2-3 to 1-2 (triangle represents pin 1)
before you flash the motherboard. Once set do not change it. Not changing the
jumper location could result in leaving your motherboard in an unusable
state.
6. Replace the side cover.
7. Reconnect the power cord.
8. You will need to flash using a floppy under DOS. Please do NOT attempt to flash
using the SuperUpdate, SuperLogo, or Winflash utility.
NOTE: If you do not have a floppy drive, please build a bootable CD. See
instructions at www.bootdisk.com.
NOTE: If you use SuperUpdate, SuperLogo or Winflash to flash the BIOS,
the motherboard MAY not recover upon reboot and the BIOS MAY need to
be reprogrammed or replaced.
9. Extract the BIOS from within the provided zip file into a temporary directory.
You will need to enter “Orange” (without quotation marks) as the password.
10. Create a bootable floppy disk and add the flash utility and BIOS binary files. See
http://global.foxconnchannel.com/en-us/service/FAQ_read.aspx?id=engb0000010
for instructions.
11. Boot to the bootable floppy. Then execute the FLASH.BAT or type this command
line:
AFU860H x.bin /py/sy/cc/cd/cp/wb (where “x” represents the portion of the
BIOS file name preceding the “dot”).
Troubleshooting:
Q1: I flashed the BIOS successfully but Windows XP will not startup.
A1: You need to keep jumper “JP1” on 1-2.
Q2: I flashed the BIOS from SuperUpdate, SuperLogo or Winfash utility and after I
rebooted I got this message on the screen:
