Windows 95 Modem Driver Installation
After following the directions in our Hardware Conflict Resolution
Guide, please follow these procedures to install the driver:
1. Go to START, then SETTINGS then choose CONTROL PANEL.
2. In your Control Panel Window, double-click on Modems.
3. Click on "Add" button.
4. Click on box next to "Don't detect my modem; I will select it from
a list," to put a checkmark in the box.
5. Click on "Next >" button.
6. In the Install New Modem window, click on "Have Disk...".
7. Put the driver diskette enclosed with your modem, into the
diskette drive of you computer.
8. In the window under "Copy manufacturer's file from:", put the
drive letter for your diskette drive, followed by WIN95, then
click on "OK" button.
Example:
If diskette in A Drive: A: If diskette in B Drive: B:
1. Select your modem from the list, and click on "Next >".
2. Select the COM Port your modem is on, and click on "Next >".
3. Then click on "Finish" to complete your installation.
4. This should leave you in your Modems Properties window.
Just click on "Close" and your modem should be ready for use.

Windows 95 - OSR2 - Modem Driver Installation
The screen message will be as follows after Windows 95 was run.
'New Hardware Found' "Your Modem Name Here"
1. Then on the screen the message will show "Update Device Driver Wizard"
click "Next" to install "Your Modem Name Here" driver.
2. Press "Other location" then "Browse" buttons, put the driver diskette
into the floppy drive. Next find root directory of the diskette or
CD-ROM. Press "Ok" twice then "Finish" once.
Note: The original Windows 95 (OSR2) disc is needed during setup.
3. "Wave Device " message appears then when you see the message "Update
Device Driver Wizard " shows on the screen. Install the driver again.
Follow the procedures as in step 2.
4. The new modem can work right after all the configurations were set up.

Install and Configure NT 4.0 Modem
1. Choose the Start Menu.
2. Choose Settings.
3. Choose Control Panel
4. Double-Click on the Modems Icon.
From the "Install New Modem" window:
5. Put an "x" in "Don't detect my modem; I will select it from a list".
6. Click on the "Next" Button.
In the next window:
7. Click on the "Have Disk" Button.
8. Then type the drive and path to your drivers.
9. Example: "A:\" if in Diskette Drive A, on the root directory.
10. Click the "Ok" Button.
11. Choose, (highlight), "Name of your modem"
12. Click the "Next" Button.
13. Select the COM Port your modem is on.
14. Click the "Next" Button.
