Procedura di installazione Driver per Windows 2000
---------------------------------------

1) Avviate Windows 2000

2) Scaricate il file "Palladio USBV92 Win98.exe" nel Vostro PC.

3) Eseguite il file "Palladio USBV92 Win98.exe", il quale in automatico copierà
i driver del Palladio USB V.92 nella cartella C:\Digicom.

4) Windows inizierà la procedura "Installazione guidata nuovo hardware".

5) Premete "Avanti>" per procedere nell'installazione.

6) Selezinate "Cerca un driver adatto alla periferica..." e premete "Avanti>"

7) Nella finiestra "Individua file del driver" selezionate solo "Specificare un percorso"
e premete "Avanti>"

8) Premete "Sfoglia" e selezionate la cartella in cui sono stati scompattati i driver
(C:\Digicom), confermate con "OK" e "Avanti>".

9) Confermate con "Avanti>", "SI" e "Fine" le finestre successive per completare
l'installazione.

Windows Me Driver installation procedure ---------------------------------------- MODEM PCMCIA/CARDBUS -------------------- 1. Start WindowsME. 2. Insert the PCMCIA card into the computer's slot, please pay attention to the "this side up" indicator. Windows should noe detect a new hardware. 3. In the "Add New Hardware Wizard" window select "Specify the location of the driver" and Click "Next". 4. Select "Serch for the best driver for your device. ", select "Specifify a location" and Click "Browse". Select the folder where you copied the driver you downloaded from digicom web site. 5. Click "OK", then "Next". 6. Click "Next", then "Finish". Attention: after having inserted the modem into the slot (point 2), it may happen that the system automatically associates a driver to the modem. In this case, in order to update the existing driver with a newer one do the following: 7. From the "Start" menu -> Settings -> Control Panel -> System. 8. Select "Device Manager". 9. Highlight the Modem and click "Properties". 10. Select Driver and click "Update Driver". 11. From here one go ahead like described at point (3). SERIAL MODEM AND INTERNAL ISA BUS MODEM --------------------------------------- After having performed the hardware nstallation do as follows: 1. Start WindowsME 2. Select from "Start" menù -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Modems

1) Extract the files in a folder on PC (eg. c:\digicom).

2) Plug the USB modem into an available USB port.

3) Automatically a new hardware will be detected.

4) Select "Install from a list or specific location", then click "Next".

5) Select "Don't Search, I will choose the driver to Install", then click "Next".

6) Scroll down and select "Universal Serial Bus Controller", then click "Next".

7) Click "Have Disk", then click "Browse" and locate the driver folder.

8) Select "Digicom Palladio USB V.92", then click "Next".

9) Click "Continue anyway" in "Hardware Installation" window.

10) The driver installation is over.
