4. New Version Release: 5.39
5. Previous Version Release: 5.38
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Reason for Release (including Bug Fixes and Enhancements and Feature added)
Version 5.39:
============
Bugs Fixed:
----------
1) During Cluster HCT phase 5 test driver and firmware used to wait each other for command
completion and interrupt post acknowledgment respectively. This leads to dead lock and
HCT test fails with IO timeout error. This has been fixed.
2) When heavy I/O are running, miniport driver often gets mailbox busy this was leading to
I/O hangs, in this case driver waits for busy to become free. This has been fixed.
3) Logical drive status checking was failing for Dummy Device inquiry. This has been fixed.
4) Capability pointer changed in Firmware for Fast READ/WRITE calls for hard disk connected to
SCSI Channels.
Enhancements:
------------
1) Support for SATA 150-6 added to the setup files.
2) Support for MegaRAID SCSI 320-2X added to the setup files.
3) Support for SATA 150-4 controllers added to the setup files.
Version 5.38:
============
Bugs Fixed:
----------
1) Change in the setup files, so that Scsiport driver should give correct DeviceNumber and
Function Number to the miniport driver.
2) A timeout is implemented in the driver so that driver shouldnt wait infinitely for the
Firmware to acknowledge the interrupt.
3) During Reset, Driver was not clearing all the Pending Commands whenever the
Firmware is not able to complete it.
4) System was hanging after it wakes up from Hibernation/Standy on 471/493 controller.
Driver needs to reprogram these SCSI chips before waiting for the firmware to initialize.
Enhancements:
------------
1) Support for SATA Controller added.
2) Support for the SCSI 320-2 processor added.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Features not supported:
=======================
1) No merging of Sequential Reads and Writes.

LSI Logic MegaRAID Driver Release
************************************
1. OEM Name: LSI
2. Product Name: MegaRAID Windows 2003 Driver (MRaid35x.sys)
3. Release Date: 08/15/2003
4. New Version Release: 6.34.2.32
5. Previous Version Release: 6.32.2.32
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Reason for Release (including Bug Fixes and Enhancements and Feature added)
Driver Bug Fixes/Enhancements:
=============================
Bugs Fixed:
----------
1. The 471/493 controllers used to have the DEC Bridge support. Now on some of the new 471/493
controllers we have started using the PeriCom PCI Bridge support. This support has been added
in the driver for the scanning of the new PeriCom PCI Bridge.
2. For the 531 controllers, the system would hang when the system was entering into the hibernation
state. This was fixed.
3. During back to back write configurations, the firmware would hang. This was fixed.
4. The driver was fixed to ensure that the Norton AntiVirus utility would send READ/WRITE requests
beyond the logical drive size.
5. When writing a configuration, the driver was not checking to see if there were any pending
commands left on the logical drives and this was resulting in data loss. This was fixed.
6. Driver was not updating some of its internal structures whenever GAM was sending a WriteConfig/ReadConfig
call to the driver. This driver was fixed to send the correct information to the GAM utility.
7. There was an AdapterFlush issue which was causing performance issues. This was fixed.

3. Release Date: 05/22/2003
4. New Version Release: 6.32.32
5. Previous Version Release: 6.31.32
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Reason for Release (including Bug Fixes and Enhancements and Feature added)
Version 6.32:
============
Bugs Fixed:
----------
1) Firmware was not able to handle multiple reserve commands for a logical drive. This was leading
to the reservation failures on some of the logical drives. A fix has been done in the driver where in
the driver would accept only one Reservation call at a time and would allow it to complete before
issuing any more commands to the Firmware.
Enhancements:
------------
1) File Version have been modified to reflect the Product version from this release onwards.
2) Support for SATA 150-4 controllers has been added to the setup files.
Version 6.31:
============
Bugs Fixed:
----------
1) During Cluster HCT phase 5 test driver and firmware used to wait each other for command
completion and interrupt post acknowledgment respectively. This leads to dead lock and
HCT test fails with IO timeout error. This has been fixed.

Enhancements:
------------
1) Support for SATA 150-6, 320-2X and 4X controllers added to the setup files.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Known Restrictions/Bugs:
================
1) Driver is using Hal functions to program Hierarchy Bridges and SCSI Chips when system goes to D3 Standby state.
In case of D3 Standby there is no controller BIOS scan that programs these transparent Hierarchy Bridges and
SCSI Chips for our ATU (i960) where our firmware resides.
In order to pass Window Logo test we are disabling Hal functions from our Miniport Driver.
This might results in some problems during hibernation/Standby on the system, which supports D3 state.
