Note : Before you do the installation please change pcam2.inf in your working directory the correct
"CCDType" and "CDSType" values and the correct R/G/B values (RedHue_Office, GreenHue_Office,
BlueHue_Office, RedHue_Home, GreenHue_Home, and BlueHue_Home) to the corresponding CCD.

1. Toshiba TCM5043T/NW802 solution has been implemented in this version. (CCDType = 0,
CDSType = 3) This release is a preliminary release, provided functionality is for demo only.
Known issues about TCN5043T/NW802:
a. This sensor provides more green hue for some image. This issue is currently under
investigation.
b. The image quality under low light is quite good. Vendor may specify the lowest frame rate
by modifying FRSlowDownStep_NONVGA and FRSlowDownStep_VGA in INF file.
Please also notice that this driver conforms to NW802 base of Revision 1.3.
Difference from Version 3.0.0.2
1. Resolved the problem that PCcam can not be brought up after OS shutdown for Tasc VGA
sensor/NW802 solution.
2. Resolved the problem that image tends to be green when AP starts.
3. Resolved the PCcam frozen problem when the picture is complex. Note: PCcam might need
some time for adjusting itself.

TASC sensor has been improved in its AE, AWB, and gamma correction.
1. Auto Exposure for TASC has been improved. The new driver make the AE adjustment in smoothier
fashion. User can see the flashing adjustment only at low light condition rather than normal
lighting condition.
2. Gamma correction for TASC sensor has been improved in this version.
3. Auto white balance for TASC sensor is also improved. The AWB hunting problem will not exist
anymore.
Difference from Version 3.0.0.4
1. Windows 2000 AE initialization failed problem has been fixed from this version.
2. Toshiba VGA blue gain overflow problem (causing more green hue) has been resolved from this version.
Difference from Version 3.0.0.5
1. Some changes for TASC VGA flicker problem is restored to Version 3.0.0.4.
2. TASC VGA AWB routine has been changed for less false color changes.

DIVIO NW801/802 PCAM DRIVER INSTALLATION GUIDE
1. Introduction:
Divio PC Camera is a Windows Plug and Play product. The driver can be
easily installed through plug and play procedure. This section
consists of two parts:
A. First-time Installation: for first-time installing a Divio PC
Camera on your system.
B. Updating Driver: If a previous version of the driver is installed
on your system, please follow this part of instructions.
The driver configuration is defined in the the pcam2.inf file. The
default settings for the CCD type and the CDS type are Sharp CCD and
CDS. A user must change the default settings to match his/her
hardware configuration before installing the software. Use an Editor
to change the settings according to the instructions provided inside
the pcam2.inf file.
This document is eligible for Divio PC Camera driver B3.00 and all
later versions.
2. Driver Installation Procedure
Note: Before you start the installation, please make sure the Registry
values initialized in "pcam2.inf" are correct to the corresponding
CCD(or CMOS) and CDS types (CCDType, CDSType, RedHue_Office, GreenHue_Office,
BlueHue_Office, RedHue_Home, GreenHue_Home, BlueHue_Home, etc). Please
consult the vendor or related documents.

3 - Fuji CCD
For CDSType: 0 - Sharp CDS
1 - Hitachi CDS (HD49322)

A. First-time Installation:
1. Create a directory in your hard disk (C:\PCAM, for instance), and
copy all the files into it.
2. Plug in your PC camera. Windows system shows "New Hardware Found".
3. Follow the Windows instructions to setup the driver. When asked
the new driver location, choose "Specify a location" and select
"driver" subdirectory under the directory you create in step 1.
4. The Windows system will use pcam2.inf to setup the new driver.
5. Run demo application (divpcam.exe) under "bin" subdirectory to see
if the new driver works.
B. Updating Driver:
1. Make sure your PC camera is plugged in.
2. Copy new driver files into a directory (C:\PCAM, for instance).
3. Click Start Menu -> Settings -> Control Panel, choose "Systems".
4. Choose Device Manager label -> Imaging Device -> PC Camera
Capture. Then click "Properties" button.
5. Choose Driver label, then click "Update Driver" button.
6. Follow the Windows instructions to setup the driver. When asked
the new driver location, choose "Specify a location" and select
"driver" subdirectory under the directory you create in step 2.
7. The Windows system will use pcam2.inf to setup the new driver.
8. Plug out your PC camera and plug in again, to reload the driver.
9. Run demo application (divpcam.exe) under "bin" subdirectory to see
if the new driver works.
