1. How do I configure my DCS-910 without the CD?
• Connect your DCS-910 to the network using an Ethernet cable.
• Log on to www.dlink.eu, choose your local country. Download the Setup Wizard utility
from the DCS-910 section under technical support.
• Install and run Setup Wizard utility. Your camera should be detected automatically.
Either use the Wizard included in the utility to configure the device or click on Link to
access the devices directly.
• The default username is ‘ admin ’. The default password is ‘ ’ (leave the field blank).
• If you have changed the password and can not remember it, you will need to reset
the DCS-910 to set the password back to ‘ ’ (leave the field blank).
If the DCS-910 cannot find a DHCP server, the default IP address is http://192.168.0.20.
2. How do I reset my DCS-910 to factory default settings?
• Ensure the DCS-910 is powered on.
• Push and hold a paperclip in the reset hole for 10 seconds, then release it. The
camera should be back to factory default settings.
Note: Resetting the DCS-910 to factory default will erase the current configuration settings.
To re-configure your settings, please rerun D-Link Clink’n Connect CD or access the
device via procedures described in question 1.
3. If I don't have a router, how do I install the camera?
• Connect the camera directly to the computer’s Ethernet port
• You need to assign your computer a static IP address in range with the camera,
such as 192.168.0.1.
• You can then access and setup the device via the default IP address of
http://192.168.0.20.
4. What can I do if my DCS-910 is not working correctly?
• The camera’s LED will light red when it receives power
• The LED will light green after the camera connects to the network
• The LED will flash green while accessing the camera
• Check that all the cables are firmly connected at both ends.
• Power the DCS-910 off for 20 seconds, and then power it back on.

(2) Click mouse left key over the tree node of “My Map” or “New Map” on tree list will pop up e-map on
“Main Display area” and click mouse right key will show all the cameras in split screen mode.
(3) Keep the live video alive whenever the video recording if operate well or not.
Remark 1: this feature provides continuous video display once external storage such as NAS is out of
work in some reasons.
Remark 2: system (D-ViewCam) won’t check the available recording space when Remark 1 condition
happened.
(4) Provide window resizing function that user can drag the border of window from default size 1024*768 to
what user wants or clicks the maximize button to fit the screen size.
(5) Remove the constraint of the recycle time period that can be any length of time period as long as storage
capacity being enough.
(6) Enhance the auto discovery function:
Support auto-add IP camera with HTTP port number rather than 80.
Enhance the error message when change the HTTP port from 80 to other value.
(7) Make video operation scenario same as “Live video pause” when minimize D-ViewCam windows to the
task bar.
(8) Remove the mouse over effect on the event button display status when there is not event detected in the
main screen.
(9) Click device icon in the e-Map can bring up its web server.
