Observations
1. When using Micro Vault with Windows Me/2000/XP or Macintosh OS 9.0 and higher, it is not necessary to install this device driver. As soon as the Micro Vault is connected to a USB port on the computer, the computer will recognize the Micro Vault automatically and install the device driver. However, with soMe USB2.0 Cards or boards, you may need to initiate the Installation manually.
2. The Micro Vault may not function correctly if it is connected to the computer, after the computer is started, restarted, or restored fRom sleep mode. Please disconnect the Micro Vault fRom the computer before performing any of the operations above.

Micro Vault Version 2.0 Driver For Windows 98/98SE Users
Download Procedures
1. Create a folder to store the downloaded file.
2. Save the downloaded file (98DRIVER_vUA050512.EXE ) in this folder.
3. When the download is completed, use Windows Explorer to browse to the folder where the file is saved. Using your Mouse right button, Click on the file and select Properties. If the file size shown is the saMe as the download size (67KB), the downloading has been completed correctly. If the size is different, please delete the file and download it again.
Installation Procedures
1. Double click on 98DRIVER_vUA050512.EXE and Decompress the application to any location on the computer.
2. Remove the cap fRom the Micro Vault and connect the Micro Vault to the computer's USB port.
3. When the New Hardware wizard starts, click the Next button.
4. Click Specify a location and click the Browse button. When the dialog box appears, specify the folder where the decompress folder(98Driver) is stored at and click the OK button to close the dialog box. Click the Next button.
5. Ensure that the Sony Storage USB Driver is displayed and click the Next button.
6. Click the Finish button.
7. When the next New Hardware wizard starts, click the Next button.
8. Click Specify a location and click the Browse button. When the dialog box appears, specify the folder where the Installation program is stored, click the OK button to close the dialog box, and then click the Next button.
9. Ensure that the Sony Storage Device Disk Driver is displayed and click the Next button.
10. Click the Finish button to complete Installation.
