BenQ Joybee 130 Download Drivers, Manual and Firmware

If you lost Qmusic from your original cdrom , than use the Full installer first before installing the update.

This version fixes several minor issues and should be fully compatible with WindowsXP SP2 .

System requirements:

1) QMusic old version installed.
2) Microsoft Media Player 9 or 10 installed.
3) Microsoft DirectX 8.0 or above

How to install:

1) Log on to your system as "Administrator", or as another user with administrator privileges.
2) Run "QMusic_2.5.1.8_Patch.exe". This program will automatically install the QMusic patch

1) Support the playback, transfer and burning of DRM-protected songs.
2) Support browsing the QBand web site and downloading songs from the web site.
3) Support Windows XP Service Pack 2.
4) Newly supported Joybee models: Joybee 121, Joybee 130, Joybee 200, Joybee 210, DSC S40
5) Support Media Player 10

How to confirm firmware version:
Way 1 (1) Power on Joybee 130 (2) Select SETUP (3) Select System information (4) Check F/W ver field.
Way 2 (1) Attach Joybee 130 to PC/NB with USB cable ,the FW version will be displayed on Joybee 130.
Fixes:

Improved fast forward/rewind.
1 hour file lenght could cause display corruption.
Improved power savings mode. This is the customized Windows host software for BenQ Joybee 130 Digital Audio Player. Please verify that all the text and graphics are acceptable and let us know immediately if any changes are required.

This is a USBMSC host software implementation and will require USBMSC firmware (built using sdk 2.400 or later) with matching USBMSC Vendor and Product IDs as well as matching SCSI VENDOR and PRODUCT IDs. The firmware binaries shipped with this host, if any, were used to test your host applications and drivers on SigmaTel development hardware. You must replace the SigmaTel binaries with your hardware-specific firmware for proper operation of your player.

Standard operation procedure for Joybee130 firmware upgrade
1. Use Winzip to unzip the files and double click.
2. Double click “Setup.exe”to run firmware upgrade program installation.
3. Follow installation wizard to finish setup.
4. When finishing installation,
(1) Connect Joybee130 to the PC/NB which had installed firmware
upgrade program.
(2) Make backup copy of those data inside Joybee130.(During firmware
upgrade, device will be formatted and all data will be erased)
5. Go to “Start” menu and “all program”, look for BenQ Joybee 130 Digital
Audio Player - > Firmware Download, click to start.
6. Current firmware version: The firmware currently inside device.
Upgrade firmware version: The firmware will be installed.
Check the “Format data area” and click start.
(remember to backup data all data inside Joybee130 )
7. Click “Yes”.
8 DO NOT disconnect Joybee130 during the program upgrading.
9. After finished upgrading, close dialogue window.(Please still keep
Joybee130 connected)
10. To remove Joybee130 safely, double click icon at the right bottom of
windows screen , and choose the Joybee130 and click OK to stop.
11. Remove Joybee130 from PC/NB after the message “safe to remove
hardware” appear.
