Plustek P8 Download Drivers

The following is the important information of Plustek P8 installation driver.

• Click on Download Now and a File Download box will appear.
  Select Save This Program to Disk and a Save As box will appear.
  Select a directory to save the driver in and click Save.
  Locate the driver file using Windows Explorer when the download has completed.
  
  
• Running the downloaded file will extract all the driver files and setup program into a directory on your hard drive. The directory these driver are extracted to will have a similar name to the P8 model that was downloaded (for example c:\P8). The setup program will also automatically begin running after extraction. However, automatically running setup can be unchecked at the time of extracting the driver file.
  
  
• Before starting the installation of drivers, connect your scanner Plustek P8 to your computer, and that the scanner is powered On. See your printer manual for details.
  
  
• Remove any previus Plustek P8 driver from Windows control panel and reboot the system.
  
  
• Windows now detects Plustek P8 and searchs for a driver: you must stop any request and hit on "Cancel button".
  
  
• Double click on Setup.exe (or similar file xxx.exe) located in c:\P8 folder
  
  
• Follow the on screen istructions
  
  
• If during installation in Windows, you will be prompted with a message warning that the driver software for P8 has not passed Windows Logo testing. Select Continue Anyway and proceed with the installation. The driver is completely tested and verified by Plustek, and safe to use.
  
  
• Reboot the system
  
  
• Congratulations, the drivers for scanner Plustek P8 is installed.
