This download package contains the HP LaserJet 2700 Mac OS X Universal Binary Full Software Installer. This is the same version of software that is available on the HP Color LaserJet 2700 version 1.1 software CD. Included are the Mac driver and HP Device Configuration Utility for Mac OS X v10.3.x, v10.4.x, supporting both PPC and Intel processors.

This download package contains HP LaserJet 2700 Mac OS X Installer Full Software Solution v7.8.0.761. Included are the Mac driver and HP Device Configuration Utility for Mac OS X v10.3.x, v10.4.x, v10.5 PPC and Intel processor.
Note: This installer also supports the LaserJet P2015 and Color LaserJet 2605/2605dn/2605dtn.

The following firmware update utilities are for the HP Color LaserJet 2700 series printer. These utilities are for use on Mac OS X 10.3x, 10.4.x. The utilities can ONLY be used with a USB connection to the HP Color LaserJet 2700 series printer. Be sure to use the firmware update utility that is specific to you printer model. If you have:
HP Color LaserJet 2700 (Q7824A) use > 2700_FW_Update-20071116.dmg
HP Color LaserJet 2700n (Q7825A) use > 2700n_FW_Update-20071116.dmg

This update is recommended for HP Color LaserJet 2700 series printers that have the version of FW that shipped with the printer. This utility updates the printer firmware version to 20071116 (November 16, 2007). The firmware version can be found on the Self Test/Configuration Page which can be printed from the printer's Reports menu.

Use this software for first time USB installations only. Do NOT attach USB cable until prompted by the installation program. The driver contained in this download package is the PCL6 Mono driver for Windows 2000, XP and Server 2003 and is the same PCL6 Mono driver found on HP Color LaserJet 2700 version 1.1 CD. This package is not designed for use with Microsoft Vista operating systems.
