Updating The Printer Firmware

1. Download the self-executable file R318945.exe from the Dell Support Website and save it to your hard drive.
2. Updating the firmware requires your printer to be turned on and connected to you system with the USB cable.
3. Locate the downloaded file R318945.exe and double-click it. The firmware updating wil begin and a message will appear on the screen when it is completed. Do not turn off the printer when the firmware updating is in progress. The printer will automatically turn off and on by itself when the firmware update is completed.
