The following is the important information of Topcom XPLORER 800 installation driver.



  • You must uninstall your current Topcom XPLORER 800 driver before installing the new driver. On your desktop, right-click on My Computer and click Properties.

  • Click on Hardware » Device Manager, then highlight Topcom XPLORER 800 and press Remove.

  • Windows will ask for confirmation. Click OK. Restart your computer.

  • Click on Download Now and a File Download box will appear.
    Select Save This Program to Disk and a Save As box will appear.
    Select a directory to save the driver in and click Save.
    Locate the driver file using Windows Explorer when the download has completed.

  • Running the downloaded file will extract all the driver files and setup program into a directory on your hard drive. The directory these driver are extracted to will have a similar name to the XPLORER 800 model that was downloaded (for example c:\XPLORER 800). The setup program will also automatically begin running after extraction. However, automatically running setup can be unchecked at the time of extracting the driver file.

  • After your computer has restarted, the Found New Hardware Wizard will launch. Select "Install from a list or specific location" and click Next.

  • Select "Include this location in the search," then Browse to place on your hard drive where the new driver was downloaded. The path to the driver will then be displayed. Click Next.

  • Ensure that "XPLORER 800" is selected and click Next.

  • Windows will copy files to the computer. Click Next.

  • Once the installation is completed, click Finish. An icon will appear in the systray in the lower right-hand corner of the screen indicating that the driver is loaded.

  • Search and consult the Readme file for additional installation drivers instructions for your XPLORER 800.
