A.) NEW DRIVER INSTALLATION
-----------------------
NOTE: After the initial installation of the Driver (instructions below),
please install the Configuration Utility from the original CD
that came with the device. For information on installation and
utilization your Configuration Utility, refer to the "Configuring
the Network PC Card" section of your User Guide.
1. Windows 95 & 98
---------------
a. Once you have booted up your PC, Windows will auto-
matically identify the presence of the PC Card and prompt
you to install the necessary driver. Click [Next] to proceed.
b. Windows will notify you that it is unable to locate the
driver and will ask you to specify where the driver is
located. Click [Other Locations] to select the driver’s location.
c. This will bring you to the [Select Other Location] screen.
Click [Browse] to select the driver’s location, or enter the
location where you have extracted the downloaded file.
d. You will return to the [Select Other Location] screen. The
folder you have selected will now be shown under Location.
Verify that this is correct and then click [OK].
e. Windows will then display a screen indicating that Windows
has installed the PC Card drivers. Click [Finish].
f. Windows may ask you to insert your original Windows CD-ROM.
When prompted, insert your Windows CD-ROM and click [OK].
g. Windows will now ask you to restart your computer. Click
[Yes] to restart.
The installation is complete. For information on using your
PC with your network, refer to the "Configuring the Network PC
Card for Windows 95, 98, and ME" section of your User Guide.
2. Windows Me
----------
a. Windows Millennium will automatically identify the Network
PC Adapter and prompt you to install the necessary driver.
Make sure that [Specify the location of the drivers] is
selected and click [Next] to continue.
b. Check the box next to [Other] and Browse to the location of
these drivers. Click [Next] to continue.
