======== 1. NOTES BEFORE YOU INSTALL ================================

*********** IMPORTANT *********
* If you are re-installing over a previous installation, please note
that this version of install does not retain any of EasyScroll's settings
for applications you have made previously. Each new install will
create INI files with default settings for many popular applications.
*********** IMPORTANT *********

* The installation program will backup your SYSTEM.INI and WIN.INI
files during installation. They will be copied to the C:\EZ31 or C:\EZ95
directory (or your install directory.)

* You may also install using your current pointing device and then
switch the devices when Windows restarts. (But it's a good idea to
power down when it's time to restart if you do this.)
========= 2. WINDOWS SOFTWARE INSTALLATION ==========================

Mouse Technique (EasyScroll bottom switch is 2, or no switch is present)
***********************************************************************
1) Start Windows

2) Win 3.1: From the Program Manager, with EasyScroll floppy disk in the
drive, click on the File menu, click on the Run... menu item, and
type A:SETUP (or use B:SETUP if the disk is in drive B:).

Win 95: Click on the Start button, click on the Run... menu item,
then type A:SETUP (or use B:SETUP if the disk is in drive B:).

3) Follow the instructions given during the installation. Generally,
you will just need to click on the highlighted buttons (or press
the Enter key) at each step to perform a standard (full) install.

4) Remember to remove the install disk at the end before you click
"OK".
Keyboard Technique (EasyScroll bottom switch is 3)
***********************************************************************
1) Start Windows, but do not move the EasyScroll mouse until Program Manager
appears. (or the Windows 95 main screen)
Note: If you do not already have a previous version of EasyScroll running,
it is normal at this point for the cursor not to be present.
DO NOT MOVE THE MOUSE.
Instead, use the keyboard keys to continue the installation;
the install dialog boxes have instructions for using the keyboard keys.

2) Win 3.1: From the Program Manager, with EasyScroll floppy disk in the
drive, press ALT + F to pop up the File menu, type R for Run, and
type A:SETUP (or use B:SETUP if the disk is in drive B:)

Win 95: Press the Ctrl+ESC keys to open the start menu, press the Up
arrow to highlight Run... and press Enter. Then type A:SETUP
(or use B:SETUP if the disk is in drive B:)

3) Follow the instructions given during the installation. Generally,
you will just need to press the Enter key at each step to perform
a standard (full) install.
